Cape Town focuses on breathtaking scenery and outdoor adventure. Johannesburg provides a gateway into understanding modern African urban life.
One of South Africa’s most popular destinations, Cape Town is considered one of the world’s most beautiful cities. While touring with Zimbotsa you will see landmarks such as Table Mountain, Camps Bay, and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
Here’s a brief sample itinerary to help you get oriented and ready to explore some of Cape Town's highlights:

You may choose to include a small group tour to Soweto. SOWETO,
short for South Western Townships, is saturated with history and offers visitors everything from adrenaline-fuelled activities to traditional cuisine and, of course, museums filled with potent history.
Here’s a brief tour itinerary to help you explore some of Soweto's highlights:
Vilakazi Street, famous for being the only street in the world where two Nobel Prize winners, Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu, lived. You can visit the Mandela House Museum.
Soweto Towers: Head to the iconic Orlando Towers for some adrenaline. You can try bungee jumping or just enjoy the view.
Lunch at a Local Restaurant: Consider trying dishes like bunny chow or pap and chakalaka.
Hector Pieterson Memorial and Museum: Visit this important historical site that commemorates the students who lost their lives during the Soweto Uprising in 1976.
Apartheid Museum: Although technically not in Soweto, it's nearby and worth the visit. It provides a comprehensive overview of South Africa's history.

South Africa is an accepting country and a shining beacon for gay travel in Africa. And some of the best experiences, gay-friendly accommodation, bars, and hotels are found in the country’s Mother City of Cape Town.
